RDC is pleased to announce that Lauren Lyerly, PA, will transfer permanently from the RDC Salisbury office to our Faith office on July 15. Lauren has been working with RDC as a primary care provider since 2014. She was certified as a physician assistant in 2007 and worked for MedChoice Urgent Care and Lexington Family Physicians from then until joining RDC. Lauren received her undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University and her Master of Medical Sciences from the Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
Lauren is looking forward to the move to the Faith office. She is familiar with the office, having filled in many days when Dr. Fink was on medical leave. Of course, being female, she brings the women of the Faith community the option of seeing a “lady” provider. Dr. Douglas Shellhorn, a physician and shareholder of RDC for 25 years will be the collaborating physician for both Lauren and Daniel Crowe and will see patients in the Faith office on a rotating basis.
Between July 1 and July 9, Daniel Crowe will see those patients who are currently scheduled with Dr. Fink. Other patients of Dr. Fink’s needing to be seen during these dates are welcomed to come to the Salisbury office. The Faith office will be open July 10 – 12 for walk-in visits with Robert Ruhlman while Daniel is away. All patients who had an appointment scheduled with Dr. Fink July 15 and forward will be transferred to Lauren’s schedule.
