We are receiving calls regarding information on the COVID-19 vaccine. Currently, RDC does not have the vaccine and we do not currently know when we will receive doses of the vaccine. We have filed with the North Carolina Health Department to receive approval to give the vaccine. Once that approval has gone through then we will be eligible to receive doses to administer. RDC will reach out and send notice to those who are eligible once we are ready to give the vaccine. When we begin to receive doses of the vaccine, we will be required by law to follow the phases that are set in place by the state and we will contact the patients who are eligible.

In the meantime, it is RDC’s stance that all patients get the vaccine that are eligible and when it becomes available. The Rowan County Health Department will be setting up a vaccine site and will likely be giving out vaccine before we receive it. If you are eligible and have access to receive the vaccine, we encourage you to do so.

All updates of this information will be published here, our website, and will soon be published on our greeting of our call system.
