RDC is working to comply with all CDC COVID-19 coronavirus recommendations. Your health is of paramount importance to us. We apologize for the inconvenience our changes during this trying time create, however we are sure you understand these steps are for your safety and the safety of those around you.

Primary care: The office will be open for regular business hours to see all patients, including routine follow-up care and physicals. We have divided the main waiting areas on the first floor into “sick” and “well” sides. Any patient coming to the office with fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other flu-like symptoms, or exposure to anyone with the coronavirus will be placed in the sick waiting area. Every sick patient will be required to don a mask provided by RDC. Those who refuse will not be seen. Masked patients will check in on the right side of the front desk. Our patients in Faith who believe they have been exposed to the virus should come to the Salisbury office. If you go to the Faith office, you will be sent to the Salisbury office.

Pulmonary: Patients will be triaged in first-floor elevator lobby. All patients coming to the office with fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other flu-like symptoms, or exposure to anyone with the coronavirus will be required to don a mask provided by RDC. Masked patients will be given a card to present to the second-floor front desk. They will be escorted to a roomset room as quickly as possible.

Rheumatology: Patients will be triaged in first-floor elevator lobby. Those with a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other flu-like symptoms, or exposure to anyone with the coronavirus will not be seen. The triage table will cancel the appointment and the patient will be contacted later to reschedule. Patients arriving for their visit who do not have any of these symptoms will be admitted to the second floor.

GI: Those with a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other flu-like symptoms, or exposure to anyone with the coronavirus will not be seen and should immediately contact their PCP.

IV: Patients will be triaged in first-floor elevator lobby and directed to the Rheumatology department for check-in. Those with a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other flu-like symptoms, or exposure to anyone with the coronavirus will not be seen.
